  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2/3 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • unsweetened chocolate - 2 sq

How to make brownies:

Melt butter and chocolate; remove from heat and add sugar and eggs. Beat well and add flour, salt and baking powder. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour in buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake 25 minutes at 325°.
