Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- nuts optional - 1 item
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- chocolate - 4 sq
- vanilla optional - 1 item
- eggs unbeaten - 4 item
- flour unsifted
How to make brownies:
Melt chocolate and oleo in saucepan or microwave. Allow to cool to lukewarm. Add sugar and eggs; blend well. Add flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla and nuts. Pour into a 2 x 8 x 13-inch greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. May be frosted, if desired. Yields 2 to 3 dozen.Recipe categories: Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie, Brownies.
