Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • oil - 1 Tbsp
  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • chopped walnuts - 3/4 c
  • hot water
  • sifted all-purpose flour - 1 c
  • vanilla ice cream or whipped cream - 1 item

How to make brownie pudding:

Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, powder and salt. Add milk, salad oil, water and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Mix together brown sugar and cocoa; sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350° about 45 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
