Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- sifted flour
How to make brown sugar drop cookies:
Beat shortening, sugar and egg. Add flour to which has been added the salt, soda and sour milk. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
