Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 5 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • nuts, chopped - 1 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • Crisco oil - 1/2 c
  • cake flour - 3 c

How to make brown sugar cake:

Cream sugar, margarine and Crisco. Add eggs, one at a time. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Fold in nuts and bake in a tube pan one hour at 325°.
