Broccoli and rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- oleo - 3 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- soup can milk - 1 item
- large jar Cheez Whiz - 1 item
- box frozen broccoli - 1 item
- cooked rice 3/4 c - 2 c
How to make broccoli and rice casserole:
While broccoli is thawing in 1 cup boiling water and rice is cooking, saute onion and celery in oleo. Add soup and milk. Simmer for 3 minutes. Add Cheez Whiz. Mix well. Add broccoli and rice. Add seasonings. Pour into Pam-sprayed casserole and bake for 40 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, White rice.
