Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- sharp Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- slices white bread, cubed - 2 item
- spiced pork sausage - 1 lb
How to make breakfast casserole:
Saute sausage and drain. Beat eggs with mustard and milk (use some salt if desired). Layer bread, then sausage, then cheese in a 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Pour egg mixture over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 8 to 12.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
