Bread pudding with bourbon sauce
Ingredients/Components
- loaf finely cubed French bread or 12 slices white bread - 1 lb
- beaten eggs - 6 item
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- whole milk - 1 qt
- raisins, plumped in bourbon - 1 c
- Sprinkle top with raisins which have been plumped in bourbon
- sugar - 1 c
- water - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- or more good bourbon - 1/4 c
How to make bread pudding with bourbon sauce:
Mix first 4 ingredients well and pour into a buttered casserole. Sprinkle top with raisins which have been plumped in bourbon. Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour.
