Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 6 c
• salt - 1 item
• vinegar - 4 c
• celery seed - 2 tsp
• turmeric - 1 tsp
• green peppers, chopped - 4 item
• cucumber slices - 18 c
• or 3 cinnamon sticks - 2 item
• to8 onions, chopped - 6 item

How to make bread and butter pickles:

Cover cucumber slices with salt and let stand for 2 hours. Rinse with water and drain. Bring all ingredients to a boil 1 minute, then jar.
