Bourbon sweet potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- miniature marshmallows - 2 c
- bourbon - 1/3 c
- size vacuum-packed sweet potatoes - 3 cans
How to make bourbon sweet potatoes:
Turn sweet potatoes, undrained, into large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until heated through.Preheat oven to 350°. Mash drained sweet potatoes. Add sugar, bourbon, butter and vanilla. Beat until blended. Turn into 2-quart shallow baking dish. Sprinkle marshmallows on top. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes or until marshmallows are golden. Makes 9 servings.
