Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • water - 2 c
  • parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
  • onion flakes - 1 Tbsp
  • tomato juice - 2 c
  • bay leaves - 2 item
  • can minced clams - 1 item
  • bottles clam juice - 2 item
  • scallops - 1/2 lb
  • dried dill - 1 Tbsp
  • beef bouillon - 1 Tbsp
  • whole garlic clove - 1 item
  • champagne vinegar - 1/4 c
  • mussels - 6 item
  • halibut - 1 lb
  • littleneck clams - 6 item
  • large, raw shrimp - 6 item

How to make bouillabaisse:

Cut up fish and simmer with all other ingredients except clams, mussels, shrimp and scallops for about 1/2 hour; add the clams, mussels, shrimp and scallops and simmer for 15 minutes.
