Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- sour cream - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- molasses - 2 Tbsp
- raisins - 1 c
- Crisco - 1 Tbsp
- hot water - 1 Tbsp
- nutmeats - 1/2 c
- All-Bran - 2 c
How to make boston brown bread:
Soak All-Bran in sour cream for 30 minutes. Cream together Crisco, egg, sugar and molasses. Dissolve soda in hot water. Add flour and salt. Stir into bran mixture. Add raisins and nutmeats.
