Blend of the bayou
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- stick margarine - 1 item
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1 Tbsp
- grated cheese - 2 c
- cracker crumbs - 2 c
- can sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- cooked rice - 2 c
- red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- crab meat - 1 pt
- Tabasco - 1 tsp
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- large bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- peeled, raw shrimp - 1 lb
How to make blend of the bayou:
Melt cream cheese and butter. Saute shrimp, onion, pepper and celery in 2 tablespoons butter and add to first mixture. Add soup, mushrooms, seasonings, crab meat and rice. Mix well. Place in a 2-quart casserole dish and top with grated cheese and cracker crumbs. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 350°, or until bubbly.
