Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- margarine or butter - 1 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- blackberries - 4 c
- pastry for a double crust pie - 1 item
How to make blackberry pie:
Stir sugar and flour together in a large mixing bowl. Stir in blackberries. If using frozen berries, let partially thaw. Add lemon juice. Fill pastry lined 9-inch pie plate with blackberry mixture. Dot with margarine. Top with remaining crust. Flute edges. Cut slits in top. Bake in a 375° oven for 50 minutes. If using frozen berries, cover edge of pie with foil and bake 50 minutes.
