  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1 c
  • black walnuts - 1 item
  • can coconut - 1 item
  • box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • can black walnuts - 1 item
  • Frosting:2 sticks margarine soft

How to make black walnut cake:

Frosting:2 sticks margarine (soft)1 c. sugar2 Tbsp. cornstarch1 c. water1 can coconut black walnuts Add 1 can black walnuts to cake mix and bake as directed.

Cream margarine and sugar together in bowl. Put water and cornstarch in pot and boil. Let this stand until completely cool. Then add to sugar. Add coconut and nuts. Spread on cake.
