Best ever chocolate chip cookies

vanilla - 1 Tbsp
milk - 2 Tbsp
salt - 3/4 tsp
semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
baking soda - 1/2 tsp
egg - 1 item
all-purpose flour
brown sugar, firmly packed
butter flavor Crisco - 3/4 c
pecan pieces optional - 1 c

How to make best ever chocolate chip cookies:

Heat oven to 375°. Combine Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat until creamy. Blend in egg. Mix flour, salt and soda together in separate bowl. Gradually add flour mixture to batter. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonful of dough 3-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Do not overbake. Cookies will look light and chewy. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
