  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • ketchup - 1/2 c
  • bacon, cut up - 1/2 lb
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • can kidney beans - 1 item
  • can butter beans - 1 item
  • can baked beans - 1 item
  • clove of garlic, minced - 1 item

How to make best baked beans:

Brown onion and bacon together; drain off grease. Drain each can of beans slightly; combine all ingredients and bake for 2 hours at 350° in covered casserole. Remove cover for last 30 minutes (or longer if drier texture is preferred).
