Beet jelly
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 8 c
- beet juice - 6 c
- large box raspberry Jell-O - 1 item
- bottle lemon juice or fresh - 1/2 c
- boxes Sure-Jell - 2 item
How to make beet jelly:
Cook beets, enough for 6 cups juice. Stir together in large kettle the beet juice, lemon juice and Sure-Jell. Bring to a boil; stir constantly. Boil 1 minute. Add sugar and Jell-O. Cook for 6 minutes or to soft ball. Pour in jars and seal.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Vegetables, Jellies.
