Ingredients/Components

  • fondue beef cubes - 1 lb
  • potatoes, quartered - 6 item
  • carrots, sliced - 6 item
  • beef bouillon cubes - 2 item
  • red wine - 1/4 1/2
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Italian seasoning - 1/8 tsp
  • large onion - 1 item
  • dash of garlic powder - 1 item
  • box hot roll mix - 1 item

How to make beef stew:

Brown beef and add wine; simmer until wine is cooked up. Add all ingredients, except hot roll mix, to meat. Cover with water; simmer until potatoes are well done, about 2 hours. Serve with bread sticks.

Mix hot roll mix according to box; let rise for 45 minutes. Separate into 4 balls. Flour board; roll out dough 1/4-inch thick; cut into strips. Place into hot oil. Turn and cook until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
