Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2/3 c
- lemon juice
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/3 c
- Dijon mustard - 2 Tbsp
- catsup - 1 c
- brisket I use first cut - 6 7
How to make beef brisket:
Sauce:2/3 c. lemon juice2/3 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce2 tsp. salt1 c. catsup Mix sauce and pour over brisket. Bake, covered, at 300° for 4 to 5 hours until tender. Baste meat every 1/2 hour. Cool and slice meat. Spoon sauce over cut meat and reheat at 350°. Freezes well.My most frequently requested recipe.
