Beans salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 2/3 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- onion - 1/2 c
- green pepper - 1 c
- green beans - 2 qt
- clove garlic, split - 1 item
- yellow wax beans - 1 qt
- large can red kidney beans - 1 item
How to make beans salad:
Cook green beans or heat, if canned. Drain. Let cool. In a large bowl, combine cooled beans, kidney beans, pepper and onion. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the vinegar, sugar, salad oil, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Shake well; discard garlic. Pour over bean mixture; toss until well mixed.
