Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- mustard - 1 tsp
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- onion - 1 item
- green pepper - 1 item
- carrots, cut in small pieces - 4 c
How to make marinated carrots:
Boil carrots and cut into small pieces. Add onion and green pepper. Bring to a boil the sugar, oil, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, tomato soup and vinegar. Drain carrots and pour hot liquid over vegetables. Put in refrigerator when cool. This will keep for a long time.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
