Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- water
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 4 7
- catsup
- stalk celery - 1/2 item
- medium onions - 2 item
- barbecue sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chuck roast or 4 lb - 3 6
How to make barbecued beef:
In a Dutch oven or roasting pan with tight fitting cover, mix together all ingredients except meat. Mix well. Trim fat from meat and place meat in sauce. Spoon sauce over meat; cover tightly and place in preheated 350° oven. Roast 4 to 6 hours, depending on size of roast. Remove meat from pan, discard any bone or fat. Shred meat with 2 forks and then return to sauce, stir. Keeps up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Roast beef.
