Barbecue sandwiches
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- catsup - 2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- tomato juice - 1 c
- ground chuck beef - 5 lb
- medium sized onions - 2 item
How to make barbecue sandwiches:
Brown ground chuck in pan. Add onions, celery, green pepper, sugar, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce, then add tomato juice and catsup.Cook together for approximately 1 hour. If it is quite thin, leave the lid off for awhile and then sprinkle a couple of tablespoons oatmeal on top. Cook until thick.
