Banana split dessert
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped nuts - 1 item
- maraschino cherries - 1 item
- large container Cool Whip - 1 item
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- crushed pineapple, drained - 2 c
- vanilla wafers, crushed - 2 c
- to 5 bananas, sliced - 4 item
- whipped margarine soft in tub - 1/2 lb
How to make banana split dessert:
Mix margarine and vanilla wafer crumbs well and pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Beat powdered sugar, eggs and whipped margarine with mixer for 8 minutes. Pour over crust and spread evenly. Slice bananas over whipped mixture in pan. Spread pineapple over bananas. Spread 1 large container of softened Cool Whip over pineapple. Garnish with chopped nuts and cherries.
