Banana split cake
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- chocolate syrup - 1 Tbsp
- sticks oleo - 4 item
- small jar maraschino cherries - 1 item
- large Cool Whip - 1 item
- graham crackers, crushed - 2 c
- 2 can crushed pineapple, drained
- to 5 large bananas - 4 item
How to make banana split cake:
First Layer: Combine cookie crumbs with 2 sticks oleo. Scatter across bottom of 9 x 13-inch Pyrex pan.Second Layer: Beat in electric mixer (this is a must) powdered sugar, eggs and rest of oleo for full 15 minutes.
Third Layer: Slice bananas and lay close together all over.
Fourth Layer: Spread pineapple out all over cake.
Fifth Layer: Spread Cool Whip generously all over.
Sixth Layer: Put cherries and pecans on top, then dribble chocolate syrup over entire area in drops. Cool and serve. Allow cake to set out of refrigerator for a little while before serving to keep crust from being too hard.
