Banana split cake
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- large can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- tub Cool Whip - 1 item
- or 5 bananas - 4 item
- jar cherries, chopped - 1 oz
- box powdered sugar, sifted - 1 item
- small can chocolate syrup optional - 1 item
How to make banana split cake:
Mix together cracker crumbs and melted margarine. Press in 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla; spread over crumbs. Slice bananas lengthwise and lay on cream cheese mixture. Spread pineapple on top. Spread Cool Whip next and sprinkle with cherries and pecans. Pour chocolate syrup sparingly over top, if desired.
