Banana split cake
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- bananas - 4 item
- large Cool Whip - 1 item
- fresh strawberries - 1 pt
- pineapple juice - 4 Tbsp
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- cans crushed pineapple, drained - 2 item
- Hershey chocolate syrup - 1 item
- xxx sugar - 2 c
- chopped nuts and/or toasted coconut - 1 item
How to make banana split cake:
Mix together crumbs, sugar and butter. Press into 13 x 9-inch pan. Can be baked at 350° for 10 minutes, but not necessary. Blend sugar, butter, vanilla and pineapple juice. Spread over crumb crust. Slice bananas over. Add layer of fresh or frozen strawberries. Add 2 cans of pineapple. Spread Cool Whip over all. Drizzle chocolate syrup over Cool Whip. Top with nuts or coconut. Refrigerate.
