- flour
- butter - 3/4 c
- egg yolks - 3 item
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 4 Tbsp
- mashed bananas - 1 c
- pecans - 1 c
- Add flour with soda and buttermilk flavoring, then bananas and nuts and beat well and bake
- sweet milk enough to finish out a cup - 1 item
How to make banana nut cake:
Cream butter, sugar and eggs and beat. Add flour with soda and buttermilk flavoring, then bananas and nuts and beat well and bake. Grease and flour two 8 or 9-inch pans or one 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° until done.Icing:1 small can Pet milk sweet milk (enough to finish out a cup)1 c. sugar3 egg yolks1 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts1 c. coconut Bring Pet milk, sweet milk, sugar and egg yolks to a bubbly boil.
