Banana nut bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/4 c
- flour
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/3 c
- mashed ripe bananas - 1 c
How to make banana nut bread:
Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In mixer bowl, cream sugar and shortening with electric mixer until light. Add eggs, one at a time. Add milk. Add flour and bananas (beat until smooth after each addition). Fold in nuts. Bake at 350° for 60 to 65 minutes.
