- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 4 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- bananas - 2 item
- egg yolks save whites - 4 item
- Topping:4 egg whites
How to make banana cream pie:
Topping:4 egg whites1/4 c. sugar dash of salt Mix first 6 ingredients and cook over low to medium heat, stirring and making sure not to burn. After it has thickened and cooled, add bananas. While it is cooling, bake two 9-inch pie crusts, as it is directed on crust package or one deep dish. Beat egg whites to peak and add sugar and salt. Put on top of custard in pie crust.
