  • ripe bananas, mashed well - 1/2 doz
  • sugar - 2 c
  • vegetable oil - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda
  • chopped pecans - 1 c

How to make banana cream cake:

Mash bananas. Mix well sugar, oil, eggs and salt. Mix flour, spices, soda and pecans (optional). Alternate flour mixture and bananas into the sugar mixture. Bake in two 9-inch pans or one 9 x 13-inch pan; grease well. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes. After cooled ice with cream cheese mix. It makes for smiles.
