Banana cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• sour cream - 8 Tbsp
• butter or margarine - 1/2 lb
• salt - 3/4 tsp
• flour
• baking soda - 2 tsp
• eggs, well beaten - 4 item

How to make banana cake:

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Add flour mixed with soda, alternately with bananas. Use tube or large aluminum pan. It makes a very large cake, it can be divided for smaller cake.

I bake mine in the oblong pan that has lid. I used the whole recipe. I divided it and froze half. Grease and flour pan and bake in 350° oven about an hour or until tester comes out dry. You can sprinkle cake with powdered sugar while hot.

Cream cheese frosting is good on it, if you want more frosting.
