Cinnamon bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- dried orange peel - 2 tsp
How to make cinnamon bread:
Grease loaf pan. Preheat oven to 350°. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs and vanilla. Beat. Add sour cream and milk; beat at low speed. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and soda. Add to mixture.In another bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Pour half of batter into pan; sprinkle 1/4 cinnamon/sugar mix. Add more batter, then cinnamon-sugar, remaining batter and cinnamon-sugar mixture. Cut through with knife. Bake 60 minutes until toothpicks come out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan.
