Ingredients/Components

  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • pound ground beef - 1 item
  • teaspoons salt - 2 item
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt - 1 item
  • cups tomatoes - 2 item
  • cup grated parmesan cheese - 1/2 item
  • pound ground sausage - 1 item
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • tablespoon parsley flakes - 1 item
  • tablespoon basil - 1 item
  • 6-ounce cans tomato paste - 2 item
  • 10 ounce package lasagna noodles - 1 item
  • 12-ounce cartons large curd cream style cottage cheese - 2 item
  • ounces sliced mozzarella cheese - 16 item

How to make baked lasagna:

Brown meats slowly. Drain off grease. Add next 6 ingredients to meat. Simmer until thick, 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles until tender. Drain. Rinse in cold water. For lasagna combine cottage cheese with next 5 ingredients. Place 1/2 of noodles. Add 1/2 mozzarella cheese and 1/2 meat mixture. Repeat layer. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 8.
