Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 3 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- nutmeg if desired - 1 item
How to make baked custard:
Heat milk over boiling water. Beat eggs; add salt and sugar. Gradually add milk to egg mixture. Add vanilla. Bake in pan at 350° for 25 to 35 minutes, or until knife comes out clean.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Egg.
