- salt - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1/4 lb
- molasses - 1 c
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 item
- onion salt - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- garlic - 1 item
- salt pork - 1/4 lb
- navy pea beans - 1 lb
How to make baked beans:
Pick over beans; cover with water overnight. Parboil and rinse. Put in dish over salt pork. Add all ingredients. Cover with water plus 1 inch. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours, then at 250° for 6 hours.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Pork, Beans.
