  • brown sugar - 2 tsp
  • can pork and beans - 1 item
  • ketchup - 1/4 c
  • can kidney beans - 1 item
  • box frozen lima beans - 1 item
  • round onion, chopped - 1 item
  • Portuguese sausage, sliced - 1 item
  • American cheese approximately 5 slices - 1/4 lb
  • large can applesauce for double recipe, optional - 1 item

How to make baked bean casserole:

Combine all ingredients and put in casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

When reheating, can be microwaved for 18 minutes.
