Ingredients/Components
- pkg 10 oz frozen lima beans - 1 item
- cans 1 lb each baked beans - 3 item
- cans 1 lb, 4 oz each kidney beans, drained - 2 item
- lb Italian link sausage or pork link sausage - 1 item
- lb smoked ham cut into 1/2-inch cubes - 1/2 item
- tbsp salt - 1 item
- tsp pepper - 1/2 item
- tsp mustard dry - 1/2 item
- can 8 oz tomato sauce - 1 item
- c catsup - 1/2 item
- c brown sugar packed - 1/4 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
How to make baked bean and sausage casserole:
Cook lima beans 10 min. Drain, mix with other beans. Place sausage in a skillet; add small amount of water. cover and simmer 5 min. Drain; pan fry until brown. Don't prick. Cut each sausage into 2 or 3 pieces. Heat oven to 400°. Mix sausage, ham and beans. Combine seasonings, tomato sauce, catsup, brown sugar and onion; add to beans. Pour into 3 qt. baking dish.
