Bacon cheddar puffs
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- self-rising flour - 1/2 c
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- 2 oz - 1/2 c
- chopped green onion - 1/4 c
- bacon slices, cooked and crumbled - 4 item
- coarse ground pepper - 1/4 tsp
- margarine, cut in small pieces - 2 Tbsp
How to make bacon cheddar puffs:
Heat oven to 350°. Bring milk and margarine to boil over medium heat. Add flour all at once, stirring constantly, until mixture forms a ball and leaves sides of pan. Remove from heat. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring constantly, until it is smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased foil lined cookie sheet. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Yields 3 dozen.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Pork, Bacon.
