- eggs - 4 item
- pkg - 1 3/4
- butter
- water - 1/4 c
- cold water - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- dark rum - 1/2 c
- chopped nuts pecans or walnuts - 1 c
How to make bacardi rum cake:
Glaze:1/2 c. butter1 c. sugar1/4 c. water1/2 c. dark rum Mix cake ingredients together except nuts; grease and flour Bundt pan and sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan. Pour in cake batter. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Cool; invert cake on serving plate and prick to let glaze soak in.Make glaze with butter, water and sugar; boil 5 minutes, stirring, and remove from heat. Pour over cake.
