Apricot salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- cold water - 1 c
- Cool Whip - 1 c
- hot water - 2 c
- miniature marshmallows - 3/4 c
- small can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- orange jello - 2 pkg
- pineapple-apricot juice - 1 c
- apricots, drained and cut up - 1 c
- grated cheese as garnish - 1 item
How to make apricot salad:
Topping:1/2 c. sugar1 egg, slightly beaten2 Tbsp. flour1 c. pineapple-apricot juice1 c. Cool Whip grated cheese as garnish Dissolve the jello in the hot water. Add the rest of the ingredients and chill until firm.Topping: Cook until thick. Add 2 tablespoons margarine. Cool. Fold in 1 cup Cool Whip or whipped cream. Spread on top of chilled salad. Sprinkle top with grated cheese. (Can be used as salad or dessert.)
