Ingredients/Components
- powdered sugar - 1/2 2
- lemon extract - 2 tsp
- apricot nectar - 2/3 c
- Wesson oil - 3/4 c
- grated rind of 1 lemon
- Duncan Hines yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- egg yolks save whites for later use - 4 item
- Beat for 5 minutes on low speed
How to make apricot nectar cake:
Mix all the ingredients, except egg whites, in one bowl. Beat for 5 minutes on low speed. Beat egg whites stiff and fold in cake mixture. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 35 to 45 minutes at 350°. Turn out on rack.
