Applesauce drop doughnuts
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/4 c
- powdered sugar - 1 item
- applesauce - 1 c
How to make applesauce drop doughnuts:
Combine first 4 items in bowl at medium speed. Combine flour and next 5 ingredients, add to sugar mixture alternately with milk. Stir in applesauce and vanilla. Pour 2 to 3 inches of oil in saucepan. Heat at 375°. Drop batter by tablespoon. Cook 2 minutes each side. Drain on paper towel. Sprinkle with sugar.Recipe categories: Breads, Healthy, Hanukkah.
