Applesauce cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• salt - 1 tsp
• flour - 4 c
• butter - 1/2 lb
• soda - 3 tsp
• raisins - 1 c
• cloves - 1 tsp
• allspice - 1 tsp
• dates, chopped - 1 c
• applesauce - 3 c
• pecans, chopped - 1 c

How to make applesauce cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Heat applesauce and add soda. Sift flour with spices. Add to mixture alternately with applesauce. Add dates, etc. Use Pam/Baker's Joy to grease tube pan. Bake at 325° for 2 hours.
