Applesauce cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• pkg - 4 oz
• salt - 1 tsp
• flour - 3 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• molasses - 1/2 c
• raisins - 1 c
• applesauce
• stick margarine, melted - 1 item
• broken pecan goodies - 1 c
• allspice, cinnamon and ginger - 1/2 tsp

How to make applesauce cake:

In mixing bowl, combine cherries, dates, raisins, pecans and 1 cup flour. In large bowl, mix applesauce, margarine and molasses. Place in sifter 2 cups flour, sugar, soda, salt and spices. Sift into applesauce mixture and mix well. Add fruit and goodie mixture. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
