Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• eggs - 3 item
• milk - 1/2 c
• stick margarine - 1 item
• self-rising flour - 3 c
• ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
• ground cloves or allspice - 1/4 tsp
• cloves or allspice - 1/4 tsp
• applesauce, sweetened
• cinnamon heaped - 1 tsp

How to make apple stack cake:

Topping:1 qt. applesauce, sweetened1 tsp. cinnamon (heaped)1/4 tsp. cloves or allspice Beat sugar, margarine, eggs and spices together. Add flour and milk. Bake in floured round cake pans in thin layers.

Mix topping and spread between each layer. Ice with remaining topping. Let soak overnight.
