Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- butter - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- seedless raisins - 1 c
- chopped apples
- walnuts - 1 c
How to make apple scotch cookies:
Crem together brown sugar and butter. Add eggs and milk; beat well. Mix and sift flour, baking powder, salt and spices; stir into creamed mixture. Stir in apples, walnuts, raisins and butterscotch pieces.Drop by tablespoons on well-greased baking sheets. Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from baking sheets immediately; cool on racks. Makes about 4 dozen.
