Cut into 5-inch circles. Spoon 1/4 cup of apple mixture into center of circle. Moisten edges of pastry with few drops of water. Fold pastry and trim the edges with a fork. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then turn down heat to 400° and bake 10 more minutes. Brush each with milk and the sugar. Take out of oven. Then put back into the oven for 5 minutes. It makes 10 to 12 servings. Yum! Yum!
