Apple filled acorn squash
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- grated orange peel - 1 Tbsp
- apples, chopped - 2 item
- acorn squash - 3 item
How to make apple filled acorn squash:
Preheat oven to 350°. Cut squash in half lengthwise and scrape out seeds. Place cut side down in baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes.Mix other ingredients. Remove squash from oven and turn cut side up. Fill with apple mixture and continue baking for 20 minutes or until squash is tender.
